I recently stayed at Schrott Bed&Beer for a few nights and had a fantastic experience. The staff was incredibly helpful and allowed us to check in early so we could drop off our luggage. We even received a free room upgrade, which consisted of two smaller rooms, one with a sofa and the other with the beds. The location was perfect, being close to both the city center and the train station. The hostel upstairs was quiet, providing a peaceful place to rest after enjoying the lively bar downstairs. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Brno.
Can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

Conveniently located in the center, perfect for exploring the city. The pub downstairs had a cool steampunk vibe, shame it closed at 1 am.
Who needs social atmosphere or clean common spaces anyway? Smelly dorms and moldy smell, just what I look for in a hostel.

The rooms at Schrott Bed&Beer are super cozy with a seating area that makes you feel right at home. I loved the shared bathroom because it gave me a chance to meet other travelers and swap stories. The hairdryer and bed linen provided were a nice bonus, everything you need for a comfortable stay. Oh, and the towels were a lifesaver!
Personally, I would have preferred a private bathroom, but hey, that's just me. Others might still appreciate the shared bathroom setup and the chance to socialize.

The room at Schrott Bed&Beer was cozy and comfortable, with a nice seating area to relax in. I loved the laid-back vibe and how it made me feel right at home. It had everything I needed for a relaxing stay.
Just a personal preference, but I would have liked a private bathroom instead of a shared one.

I got great value for my money at this hostel. The room was clean and well maintained, with excellent security measures. The location was convenient, close to downtown and easily accessible without needing public transport. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making my stay even better.
The only thing that could make the breakfast offerings better is to have a wider variety of options available.

Quiet room, great location near train station, comfortable bed, good shower pressure and warm water. The reception bar was surprisingly safe and welcoming, with friendly staff. The rooms were quiet and the hostel had a separate hall room for dressing early in the morning without disturbing others. The shared kitchen looked good, although I didn't use it. Close to bus terminal and major sights. Towel and hair dryer provided. Spacious and clean 4 person dorm with lockers. Easy check-in at the bar. Wifi was good. Dorm rooms had couches. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The location was also perfect, being close to the main train station and just a short distance from the historic center. This made it easy for me to explore the city and visit all the attractions. the staff were friendly and helpful, always willing to assist with any questions or concerns I had.
There were a few aspects of the hostel that could have been better. the cleanliness was not up to par.
